TariLoan — Permissions & Data Privacy Notice

Disclosure of Permissions

At tariLoan, and in full compliance with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, transparency and the protection of your personal data are our highest priorities. We require certain device permissions to assess creditworthiness and to process loan applications smoothly. All data we collect is used only for legitimate service purposes, transmitted securely, and stored in encrypted form. We will never disclose your information to third parties without your explicit consent except where required by law.

Why we request permissions

We ask for specific permissions so we can:

•Verify identity and reduce fraud.

•Build accurate and fair credit models.

•Speed up loan application review and decisioning.

•Protect your account and the integrity of the lending process.

If you choose not to grant optional permissions, you may still be able to use parts of the app; however, refusal of certain permissions required for credit assessment may prevent your loan application from being approved.

ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION (rough device location) — purpose and details

Purpose (primary): anti-fraud and risk assessment. We request access to your coarse location (approximate latitude and longitude, typically at city or district level) to detect suspicious access patterns and reduce fraud risk. Specifically, coarse location helps us:

•Identify whether an application originates from a high-risk or restricted geographic area (risk control zones).

•Detect anomalies such as frequent location jumps, simultaneous logins from distant places, or access from regions known for fraudulent behavior.

•Correlate typical borrower behavior (e.g., usual city/region of activity) with an application to flag unusual activity for further review.

•Improve our automated risk scoring and decision rules so legitimate applicants receive faster decisions while fraudulent attempts are blocked sooner.

What we collect and when

•Approximate latitude and longitude (coarse level — not precise GPS coordinates).

•Timestamp of the location sample.

•Device network region inferred from the location sample (city/region).

•We only request coarse location on specific screens where it is needed for credit assessment (permission page and the homepage credit request page). If you decline, you will be guided to enable it in your device settings — without enabling it, you may be unable to proceed with credit/granting decisions.

How location data is used

•Aggregated into risk models (no single location point is used in isolation).

•Compared against historical patterns for the same device/account to detect deviations.

•Used to block or flag transactions from known high-risk areas in real time.

Data minimization & retention

•We collect only the minimum location accuracy required for risk assessment (coarse/approximate rather than precise GPS).

•Location data collected for a loan application is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described (fraud detection, risk modeling, regulatory compliance, and legitimate business use). Specific retention periods are governed by internal policy and applicable law; you may request details or deletion per your data rights.

Security & storage

•All location data transmitted to our servers is encrypted in transit and at rest.

•Location data is stored on our secure servers: https://jiadotpookopzu.tariloan.com/qkvtxvhntp

•Access to stored location data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems for the explicit purposes described above.

User control & consent

•You must grant coarse location permission to enable credit evaluation features that depend on it. If you decline, you can still use other non-credit features of the app, but credit cannot be granted until the permission is enabled.

•We will request location permission on the permission screen and again on the credit request page. If you refuse, the app will explain how to enable it in settings and the consequences for credit eligibility.

•You can withdraw location permission at any time via your device settings. Withdrawing permission may prevent the completion of any pending or future credit applications.

Emergency Contact Information

As part of the loan application process, we will request that you provide information for two emergency contacts. This requirement is standard industry practice to help us:

•Verify the authenticity of your application and strengthen identity confirmation.

•Support risk management and fraud prevention by ensuring submitted details are consistent and accurate.

•What we collect

•Full name of each emergency contact.

•Mobile phone number.

•Relationship with you (e.g., family member, friend, colleague).

•How this data is used

•Never used for marketing or unrelated communication.

•Not shared with third parties outside of the circumstances already outlined in this privacy notice (e.g., legal compliance, fraud detection, service provision).

•Emergency contact information is encrypted and stored securely on our servers ( https://jiadotpookopzu.tariloan.com/qkvtxvhntp).

•Improve decision accuracy in credit models by correlating device integrity with known risk signals.

Data minimization & retention

•We collect only the fields needed for security and risk assessment stated above.

•Sharing: We may share data in narrowly defined cases: With group companies and affiliates to improve services. With service providers who assist in credit processing, risk detection, and related services (under contractual confidentiality and security obligations). With legal authorities when required by law. With security partners for fraud prevention as necessary for legitimate risk management.
